OKLAHOMA CITY -- Two days after a crime was reported of a man who kidnapped and sexually assaulted an 11-year-old Jefferson Middle School girl, parents at another elementary school said they saw a man who matched the suspect's description.
Parents at Eugene Field Elementary School on North Klein told police they spotted the man trying to persuade several children to leave with him.
"The kids did say that the male subject had a dog with him, a small dog, and had encouraged the children to come up and play with the animal," said Oklahoma City Police Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow. "He appeared very angry when confronted and told this person he was actually there to pick up a child of his own."
Police are still looking for the suspect in last week's crime. Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers at 405-235-7300.
