Tulsa Man In Jail After Ramming His Girlfriend's Car

TULSA, Oklahoma -- A 31-year-old Tulsa man is in the Tulsa County jail after police say he rammed his girlfriend's car and scuffled with a police officer while he was being arrested. 

Tulsa Police got a call at 8:54 p.m. Wednesday from the Elbert Grant's girlfriend, who told officers he had rammed her car. 

Grant's car turned up a short time later at the QuikTrip at Admiral and Yale and was trying to start a fight. 

Police arrived and Grant struggled with officers as they were placing him under arrest. 

He was booked into the Tulsa County jail on complaints of assault and battery with a deadly weapon, violation of a protective order, DUI and resisting arrest. 

Tulsa Police say the girlfriend was not injured.
