TULSA, Oklahoma -- A high speed chase ends early Saturday morning when a motorcyclist veers off 11th Street at 100 mph, telling troopers he "just felt like running."

The chase began in West Tulsa when a trooper spotted the motorcyclist speeding along Route 66 around 1:45 a.m.

The trooper attempted to stop the driver when the bike took off at a high rate of speed. The motorcyclist then led troopers on high speed chase through Tulsa on 1-44, with speeds over 130 mph.

The chase later went from the interstate onto 11th Street.

Troopers say the biker failed to see a 90 degree turn in the road between County Line and the Creek Turnpike, running straight off the road 25 yards into a wooded area at 100 mph.

The suspect did not sustain any major injuries and was able to walk onto the road where he was arrested. Troopers say the suspect had no warrants and found nothing illegal on him.
