OSBI Finds Body in Valley Brook Neighborhood, Possibly Missing 26-year-old

OKLAHOMA CITY -- The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation said they have found what appears to be a female's body in the Valley Brook neighborhood Sunday, which could be the body of a woman missing from that area since September.

Agents have sent the remains to the Oklahoma State Medical Examiner's Office to be identified.

The body was found under a tree along some railroad tracks at 6800 Crossroads Boulevard in Valley Brook. OSBI agents said the body was badly decomposed.

Natalie Johnson, the mother of missing 26-year-old Nica Perosi, said she was told a body was found and the family would have to wait for the State Medical Examiner to do the autopsy before they could confirm it was Nica.

Nica (Tunica) Perosi was last seen taking a walk at 1 a.m. on September 14 in her Valley Brook neighborhood. She left her wallet and license behind.

Her family said she didn't hang out with low-life's. Nica's mother and sister said she was not the type to run off and she didn't have an enemy in the world.

"She's a very sweet girl, very sweet. She's basically a homebody. She likes to cook and clean. She's just so sweet," said Natalie Johnson, Nica's mother.

"She's never gone. She's always home. If she goes somewhere we go with her. It's not like for her to just leave," said Kendra Radford, Nica's sister.

During the search, agents found no signs of foul play. There were no notes, no calls, no leads and no suspects.
