ENID, Oklahoma -- Police in Enid have arrested a woman accused of trying to hide drugs in a police patrol car.
Officers saw 28-year-old Tamena Hill make an illegal turn at Broadway and Van Buren on Monday, October 11. When they pulled her over, they discovered her driver's license had been suspended.
After the officers arrested her for driving with a suspended license, they searched her car. Police said they found a large amount of cash in the 2001 Chevrolet Monte Carlo. They also discovered a set of digital scales that appeared to have cocaine residue on them, and a large "crack rock" wrapped in plastic in the center console of the vehicle.
Police arrested Hill and took her to the Garfield County Detention Facility. Once there, they discovered Hill had stuffed more than 30 grams of crack cocaine under the seat of the patrol car. Officers said when they confronted her she also admitted she'd hidden a bag of marijuana on her person.
The cocaine had a street value of more than $3,000.
Hill faced charges of trafficking in crack cocaine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance in a penal facility and driving under suspension.
