NORMAN, Oklahoma -- In central Oklahoma, several residents and businesses were able to capture some the effects of the earthquake on videotape.
The first was from a school surveillance camera in Norman. When the earthquake hit the sign started buzzing.
The bottom of the screen marks the time, 9:06 a.m.
Cameras bounced and swayed at another store, but no one seems too panicked. An employee continues to re-arrange the display case and a few shoppers walk casually to the door.
Another camera in the same store shows a customer at the register barely even move as the quake hits.
A camera keeping an eye on a parking lot was jostled.
And a camera in a room at another business doesn't shake, but it does capture folks headed outside to see what was going on.
