Tulsa Girl Hit By Car After Running Into Street

TULSA, Oklahoma -- A 10-year-old girl was hit by a car when she ran across a Tulsa street Tuesday morning.

Tulsa Police say it happened shortly after 7 a.m.  They say the girl ran into the street at 17th and Denver and into the path of a northbound car.  The driver of the car stopped at the scene.

EMSA took the girl to a Tulsa hospital with head injuries.  EMSA says she was transported in serious condition.

The name of the victim was not identified.

Tulsa Police are still investigating.
