Two Arrested After Confessing To Breaking Into Okmulgee County Home

Okmulgee County Sheriff's deputies investigating suspicious activity at a vacant home near Mounds early Sunday, say they found two men inside stealing carpet.

MOUNDS, Oklahoma -- Okmulgee County Sheriff's deputies investigating suspicious activity at a vacant home near Mounds early Sunday, say they found two men inside stealing carpet.

The sheriff's office says the pair, 33-year-old Christopher Fousel and 55-year-old John Mansker, both confessed to deputies that they had broken into the home to steal the carpet.

Both men were taken to the Okmulgee County jail and booked on complaints of second degree burglary.

The home was located on Ferguson Road near Mounds.
