TULSA, Oklahoma -- A new crime fighting technology will soon be in the hands of the Tulsa County Sheriff's Department.

A nationwide information sharing program called Pegasus will launch in Tulsa, the first in the state.

The Pegasus program was started in 2001 and will enhance communication and information sharing between Sheriff Deputies and other local law enforcement agencies.

Full details of the program will be announced Wednesday morning.
