A man was shot in a bar fight at the 007 Club on North Lewis overnight Sunday. Tulsa police say the shooting victim was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.

The shooting happened at about 12:45 a.m. in the 3200 block of North Lewis. The man was shot in the shoulder, and the bullet traveled down into the man's chest cavity, according to Sergeant Steve Stoltz with the Tulsa Police Department.

Despite the bar being crowded, no one came forward as a witness to the shooting, he said. Police believe the lack of witnesses comes from combination of the large crowd and loud music plus fear of getting involved.

Family members of the victim say the victim had argued with several people. One of them  was questioned as police continue to investigate the shooting.
