TULSA, Oklahoma -- Some Green Country students got more than their typical cafeteria lunch Tuesday.
Students and their families at the Street School enjoyed a traditional Thanksgiving meal with all of the trimmings in the lunchroom.
School board members served up platefuls of mashed potatoes and other good food.
"This is my Thanksgiving. It's a great way to give back and do something exciting to start the holiday season," said Street School Teacher Howard Doak.
This is the 29th year the school has provided the free Thanksgiving lunch for students. Stonehorse Cafe donated most of the food this year.
