TULSA, Oklahoma -- The family of a missing Green Country man is offering reward money to help find him.

John Baker disappeared on November 17, 2010, and detectives now believe foul play was involved. Tulsa Police have been combing through Baker's abandoned vehicle for evidence. They say they didn't find much and the family is digging deep into their pockets to help drum up new leads.

Thanksgiving wasn't much of a holiday for Carmen Matherly, Baker's daughter.

"We kind of seem like we shifted gears at Thanksgiving where you have your hope up and as two weeks have gone by, it just doesn't look good," she said.

The 65-year-old is very close to his family and friends and Matherly says he wouldn't have gone anywhere without telling someone."It really has been a nightmare for my family," Matherly said. "I have two small kids that love Grandpa. They call him Papa John and it's just the unknown."

What they do know is that Baker is in good health, likes to play poker at Tulsa's casinos and carries around a lot of cash. He went to Tulsa and texted a friend that he was going to play cards. That was the last time his cell phone was used.

"At this point, we feel foul play is involved in his disappearance," said Tulsa Police Detective Mark Kennedy.

Police believe Baker was abducted and money was probably a huge factor."He's never turned up missing, he's never gone extended stays at a hotel or out of town without notifying family," Detective Kennedy said.

Matherly actually found her father's truck, locked and abandoned on I-244 near Memorial. His ID card, check book and credit cards were all in the truck. His wallet was missing.

"Anything that we can get, some type of lead, because we have nothing to go on at this time and people don't just disappear," she said.

Baker's family is offering a $30,000 reward to find him or whoever is behind his disappearance.
