TULSA, Oklahoma -- A mother is making a desperate plea for help to find her son's killer. A man has been charged and there's an arrest warrant out for him, but he's on the run.

Jason Crowder was 23 years old when he was shot to death in June 2010.

The suspected killer is out there walking around, has a girlfriend, and updates his Facebook page, all like nothing ever happened.

Cindy loves looking at pictures of Jason, the youngest of her children.

"You can just tell by his smile, he could light up a room," she said.

She remembers the little boy splashing in the baby pool, napping with her on the couch and giving her kisses.

As a teenager, Jason got into trouble and spent time in Rader, then was sent to prison for stealing. She says he paid his dues, got out in April of this year, had a job as a roofer and was turning his life around.

"He wasn't perfect," she said. "He did make mistakes, but he paid for his mistakes. Charlie is out there. If he's not caught, he's going to put another family through this again."

Charlie is Charlie Noriega, the man wanted for Jason's death. Cindy says it infuriates her that he's got a Facebook page, has never expressed remorse and can't be found. Cindy says Noriega and Jason were at the same prison, when a man was murdered in Jason's cell.

Jason gave a witness statement and was being pressured to testify. His mother believes Noriega thought Jason was a snitch, so lured him to a Tulsa apartment and shot him, June 9th, 2010.

"He arrived at 6:30 and they shot him at 6:45," she said.

Cindy says her heart is broken; she can barely get out of bed some days. She says the grief is overwhelming, but she is determined to bring Jason's killer to justice and is asking for help.

"All I want is justice for my son," she said. "As he lay in his hospital bed dying, I made a promise to my son, that I would not rest until he had justice. If you know anything, please help bring justice for my son."

Cindy said when she was with Jason as he was dying, she didn't see the man who'd struggled to find the right path, she saw the little boy who used to play in the yard and run into her arms.

For Thanksgiving, Cindy couldn't bear an empty place setting, so she put Jason's picture and a candle on the table. Now, she must face her Christmas without him.

Anyone who knows where Noriega is, can call Crime Stoppers at 596-COPS. The tipline is answered in Canada, so it's 100 percent anonymous and you can get paid.
