Police Find Missing OKC Woman's Car

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Oklahoma City police have located the car belonging to a missing 48-year-old woman whose boyfriend has been arrested on a first-degree murder complaint.

Angela Biggers was last seen Monday, Dec. 6 at her workplace. Her Ford Focus hatchback was found Monday morning at an apartment complex near S.E. 15th Street and S. High Ave in Oklahoma City. Investigators have taken the car into custody and are searching it for evidence.

Biggers had been dating 34-year-old Ronald Banks for two months when she disappeared. Police said Banks had a long criminal history, but Biggers' family said she did not know about it.

Police in Texas arrested Banks Saturday night at a bus stop in Fort Worth. Detectives in Oklahoma City said they have evidence Banks may have killed Biggers.

An arrest warrant affidavit stated Banks made numerous phone calls to family and friends starting the day after Biggers' disappearance saying "something bad happened." He had "done something stupid" and "I didn't mean for it to happen." He reportedly told a family member that "she won't be reporting anything stolen," and "the only thing going for me is no body, no crime."

"Maybe it's just more talk from him, you know, trying to be big and bad. Could not be true, could be, but we're going to say no," said Jenea Biggers, Angela's daughter.

The affidavit also stated Banks took a shovel and two baseball bats to a friend's house. Police now have those items. Oklahoma City Police Captain Patrick Stewart said even if Banks waives extradition, it will be several days before he is returned to Oklahoma.
