NORMAN, Oklahoma -- After two days of jury deliberation in the murder case against Donald Reeser, a judge has declared a mistrial.

Reeser is charged in the 2009 drowning death of 2-year-old Allie Croom.

The jury deliberated for nine hours Monday and announced it was split six to six. Judge Tom Lucas told the jury to return for more deliberation Tuesday morning.

Cleveland County District Attorney Greg Mashburn said if the case ended in a mistrial, he would retry Reeser.
