TULSA, Oklahoma -- Lance Corporals Jeff Maxey and Fletcher Armstrong got a hero's welcome at Tulsa International Airport Friday.

The two Marines have spent the last seven months serving in Afghanistan.

Lance Corporal Maxey's family and friends were waiting with open arms and saved a few hugs for his friends too.

The two never expected anything like this.

"I thought my family would be here. I even asked her who'd be here. ‘Well, just the people that love you.' Ok look at this… This is wow." Maxey said.

Lance Corporal Maxey will be home for the next month, then it's back to California where he's stationed.
