TULSA, Oklahoma -- A Tulsa man celebrates the century mark as the year comes to a close. Elmer Harmon has seen and done a lot over the past hundred years.
The World War Two veteran remembers life without electricity, the first TVs and a whole different way of fighting fires.
"They used horses; they didn't have cars. Horses for fire engines come galloping out of the fire station and down the street," Harmon said.
Of course there was cake, but the one thing on Elmer's must have list --- Fritos. That's because Elmer worked for the company for 26 years.
Elmer was married for 55 years.
