TULSA, Oklahoma -- A semi blows a tire and shuts down parts of north Peoria Sunday. It happened just after 12:30 p.m.

Police say the semi had blown a tire and lost control, taking out a street lamp and causing damage to a nearby business.

The semi also spilled hazardous fluids out onto the street prompting a Hazmat crew to respond.

The truck was severely damaged, but no one was injured.

North Peoria was closed in the area for about an hour while crews cleaned up the scene.
