GLENPOOL, Oklahoma -- Icy conditions are blamed for a Sapulpa woman's death Sunday night.

The Highway Patrol says 66-year-old Joyce Armstrong Leutz was heading westbound on 181st Street outside Glenpool when she lost control.

Troopers say Leutz drove through a fence and into a pond.

When emergency crews arrived they tried to revive her, but say it was just too late. Crews are not sure how long Leutz was submerged under water.

According to an accident report, Leutz was wearing a seatbelt.
