Enid Security Guard Confronts Would-Be Bank Robber

Enid Police are searching for a man who attempted to rob the Central National Bank Monday evening.

ENID, Oklahoma -- Enid Police are searching for a man who attempted to rob the Central National Bank Monday evening.

Police said an armed man walked into the bank at 5:52 p.m. and was confronted by the bank's security guard. The man then left the bank on a BMX-style bicycle traveling eastbound on Willow Road.

The suspect was described as a white male, approximately 6 feet tall, medium build, wearing a dark blue hoodie, multicolored bandana, tan cargo pants, white gloves, and carried a dark colored semi-auto pistol.
