Tulsa Police Officer Loses Battle With Cancer
TULSA, Oklahoma – A Tulsa Police officer has died after battling cancer.
Officer Jennifer Mansell died at her home in Collinsville Monday evening. She served on the Tulsa Police Department for more than 20 years and was a long-time member of the honor guard.
Last November, two hundred Tulsa Police officers showed their support for Mansell by standing outside her hospital room with signs and flashlights.
Officer Mansell left the hospital a few days after the vigil and spent her last few months at home.
Tulsa Police officers escorted her body from Collinsville to the funeral home in Owasso Monday night.
