TULSA, Oklahoma -- Thanks to federal money, three Tulsa high schools have gotten LED illuminated digital marquees.

Tulsa Public Schools say Hale, McLain and Webster High Schools have the new marquees which were purchased under the Magnet Schools Assistance Program (MSAP) grant.

Central High School will get its new digital marquee later this spring.

The district held a lighting ceremony at Webster High School Wednesday morning.

The marquees are 22 feet wide and 12 feet tall and include each high school's logo and magnet description.

Officials say the new marquees use the latest technology to inform the community of events and activities at each school.

They say all the signs will save energy and money because of the LED technology.
