TULSA, Oklahoma -- Tulsa Police believe two carjacking incidents early Friday morning may be related.

The first incident was reported at 4:05 a.m.   Tulsa Police officers responded to a report of two men attempting to break into a vehicle at a refinery parking lot in the 3300 block of Southwest Boulevard.

The victim told officers the two men got out a car and tried to take her vehicle, but they left when she ran to a nearby security office.

The first man was a white male, 5'10" to 6' tall, weighing 180 pounds and wearing black clothing. The second man was a white male, 5'11" to 6' tall, 180 to 190 pounds and also wearing dark clothing.

The pair was last seen leaving in a dark blue vehicle.

At 4:25 a.m., Tulsa Police responded to an armed robbery and carjacking in the 4900 block of South Peoria.

A newspaper carrier told police he was in the process of folding his papers when two white males approached and demanded his vehicle.

The victim complied and the men left with the victim's vehicle going south on Peoria and then east on Skelly Drive.

Along with his 1999 Dodge Caravan, Tulsa Police say the pair took the victim's wallet.

About an hour and a half later, police say the victim called them to say his van had been located in his home's driveway.

Police ask anyone with information about either carjacking incident to call Crime Stoppers at 596-COPS.
