TULSA, Oklahoma -- Some TU students spent their Saturday learning how to be polished professionals.
Etiquette coach Jana Christian taught they course Saturday. She says the first hand shake can make all the difference at a job interview.
"The first impression is valuable. We know that first impressions happen with in the first seven seconds of meeting someone. Interviewers often tell us they can tell if the candidate coming in is the candidate for the job within the first few seconds," Christian said.
Conoco Spirit Scholars reviewed etiquette and talked about corporate culture, communication and professionalism in the work place.
