Tulsa Police Search For Armed Man In Shoe Store Robbery

TULSA, Oklahoma -- Tulsa Police are looking for a man who robbed a Tulsa shoe store Saturday night.

Police responded to Famous Footwear near 41st and Yale just before 8 p.m. on a report of an armed robbery.

Employees told police the suspect came in the store and acted like he was shopping, but when he got to the register, he pulled out a gun and demanded money.

The suspect then fled with a bag full of cash in late model dark green Chevrolet extended cab pickup.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 50's, 6-feet tall with a light beard. He was wearing a black beanie, black shirt and blue jeans.

Police had the chopper in the air assisting in the search for the suspect.
