OKLAHOMA CITY -- The biological family of an alleged molestation victim said the 16-year-old was never abused by an Oklahoma City police officer who was also the teen's foster dad.

"My nephew has told several people it was a sarcastic response to a question asked at church that was taken out of context, and it has all been blown out of proportion," said the teen's uncle, who asked to remain anonymous.

The alleged victim's biological cousins also said they do not believe Oklahoma City Police Sgt. Maurice Martinez ever touched the boy in an inappropriate way.

"Without a doubt, Martinez is innocent," said the alleged victim's cousin.

Last week nearly two dozen former foster and adopted sons came forward in support of Martinez. Some of them said the teen made up the allegations because he was disgruntled. Others have come forward to say the teen himself has admitted the allegations against Martinez are false.

Oklahoma City Police Captain Patrick Stewart said while he has heard of these claims, the victim has yet to come forward and retract his accusations to investigators.

At this time the teen remains in DHS custody.
