TULSA, Oklahoma -- A Tulsa teenager, convicted in the shooting death of his teenage girlfriend, is heading to prison for 30 years.

Theo Fleming was convicted of second degree murder in the death of Kaitlyn Finnegan. Jurors recommended the sentence, and today a judge confirmed it.

Finnegan and Fleming were hanging out at a friend's house, back in April of 2009, when she was shot.

At first, Fleming told police Kaitlyn was shot in a drive-by, but later said he accidentally shot her.

It is an 85 percent crime, so Fleming will have to serve 25 years before he's eligible for parole.
