TULSA, Oklahoma -- Residents of a home in the 2700 block of 94th East Avenue arrived home to find firefighters battling a house fire.

Captain Jimmy Kremers of the Tulsa Fire Department said the fire was reported about 12:26 p.m., and firefighters arrived to find both smoke and fire showing at the residence. They began a fire attack and search and rescue.

Shortly afterward, the residents came home and let firefighters know the house was empty.
