MOORE, Oklahoma -- The crews that cleaned Oklahoma City streets of snow last week are gearing up to do it again. That means long hours of work for them and long hours of strain for their families.

The winter weather has been tough on Tina Tait and her family. Her husband plows snow for the city of Oklahoma City. He was gone for long hours most of last week.

"It was stressful and hard for him," Tait said. "Getting up, coming home, going to bed at 2 a.m., back up out. It's stressful for all the workers."

It's also hard on the couple's six-year old daughter who doesn't understand why her dad is away all the time.

Tina Tait knows this week's snow storm will mean more long hours. That's why she prepares enough food for a twelve hour day shoveling snow. Tait just hopes this is the last big storm for a while.
