City Of Tulsa Issues Trash Collection Update

TULSA, Oklahoma -- With city services disrupted by the record-breaking snowfalls, the City of Tulsa issued an update on trash collection progress.  Trash collection is going slowly, not just because of the road conditions but also "due to the number of customers asking collectors to wait as they bring all their refuse to the curb," according to the news release.

Some routes will be incomplete at the end of the day, but the City assures customers that collectors will come back and continue servicing the routes the following day.

On Friday, crews will first finish up the Thursday routes then start on Friday customers. All of the City crews will work overtime on Saturday to finish Friday routes and respond to missed collection calls.

Recycling collection will start again on Monday, February 14.

The following Wednesday routes will be serviced on Friday (and then again on Saturday):

Route 151: E. 46th St. to E. 51st St., S. Peoria Ave. to S. Utica Ave.
Route 304: E. Newton St. to E. Pine St., S. 76th E. Ave. to S. 78th E. Ave.
Route 315: E. 48th S. N. to E. 56th S. N., N. 89th E. Ave. to N. Mingo Rd.
Route 409: E. 41st St. to E. 46th St., S. Peoria Ave. to S. Utica Ave.

The following Thursday routes will be serviced on Friday:

Route 163: E. Admiral Blvd. to E. 4th St., S. Hudson Ave. to S. Sheridan Rd.
Route 187: E. 4th St. to E. 11th St., S. Sheridan Rd. to S. 73rd E. Ave.
Route 191: E. 36th St. to E. 41st St., S. Peoria Ave. to S. Utica Ave.
Route 733: E. 26th St. to E. 33rd St., S. Woodward Blvd. to S. Peoria Ave. 

The following Thursday routes will be serviced on Saturday:

Route 195: E. 31st St. to E. 36th St., S. Lewis Ave. to S. Birmingham Ave.
Route 218: E. 36th St. to E. 41st St., S. Delaware Ave. to S. Harvard Ave.
Route 902:E. 31st St. to E. 36th St., S. Birmingham Ave. to S. Delaware Ave. 

The following Thursday routes will not be serviced at all:

Route 125: E. 4th Pl. to E. 11th St., S. Lewis Ave. to S. Delaware Ave.
Route 154: E. Admiral Blvd. to E. 4th Pl., S. Lewis Ave. to S. Delaware Ave.
Route 170: E. 27th St. to E. 31st St. and S. Peoria Ave. to S. Utica Ave.
Route 171: E. 21st St. to E. 27th St. and S. Peoria Ave. to S. Utica Ave.
Route 305: E. Apache St. to E. 41st St. North and N. Yale Ave. to N. Sheridan Rd.
