TULSA, Oklahoma -- The weather has been so nice this week the furnace has been the last thing on most folks minds.

But that's exactly what Melissa Shell has been thinking about. She's one of two winners our Heating Hearts contest.

News on Six partnered with Airco Service to provide new heaters for two deserving families.

On Friday, workers installed a new furnace at Shell's home. The single mother is grateful for the gift and Airco says they're proud they can help make such a big difference in someone's life.

"Whenever we get a chance to give back, you know, we've been in business for 50 years and Tulsa does a lot for us, and we just like to give back any way we can," Austin Boyce, with Airco Service, said.

A longtime friend nominated Shell.

Janet Abraham was the other winner. Her new furnace will be installed next week.
