A Terlton man is in jail without bond after threatening to kill a woman he barely knows on Facebook.

Deputies say the Travis Taylor had plans to make good on his threat on Friday, February 18, 2011.

The woman, Elexis, says she thought she was careful about who she allowed to see her information on Facebook and she figured an old friend from high school would be fine. She had no idea, just a few months later, he would become obsessed with her.

"You don't realize Facebook is a window into your life," she said. "I have a Flickr account and he's downloaded every one of my photos from Flickr."

She's also learned he followed her and took pictures of her without her knowing it. It's become a living nightmare. She believes had she just defriended him and ignored his threats, she'd be dead.

But, she took him seriously because he was so graphic, saying things like, cutting up her body, eating her organs, wearing her skin and more.

"It got to be ‘here's what I'm gong to do now, here's what I'm doing at this moment, flipping a coin and the choice is heads, I kill you, tails, I **** you, then kill you and oh, it's heads," Elexis said.

She posted his entire message on Facebook with the heading, "If I am killed tonight, here's why," and contacted her mom, who's a Tulsa Police officer.

She got an emergency protective order and deputies arrested Taylor Thursday night and confiscated his computers.

"His entire goal was to kill himself but he needed me so he wouldn't be alone in the afterlife," Elexis said.

Elexis plans to move and has changed all of her security settings and is trying to hold it together, and has been trying to push aside the fear that threatens to envelop her.

"I don't know, I don't think it hit, it'll hit me," she said.

Taylor was booked into jail for threatening acts of violence by electronic device, but deputies say they are investigating whether to add a conspiracy to commit murder charge as well.

Lexi says just because you knew someone years ago, doesn't mean you know them now.
