Tuttle Man Accused Of Stealing Dozens Of Catalytic Converters Arrested

ROGERS COUNTY -- A Tuttle man is in jail accused of stealing at least 100 catalytic converters.

Tulsa and Owasso police have been after Travis Gorman for awhile. Rogers County deputies picked him up recently on warrants.

Detectives say one of the converters Gorman took belonged to a man featured in a News On 6 story last fall. He had run into a doctor's office in Tulsa and came out 20 minutes later to find his converter gone.

Police say these thefts are on the rise because metal prices are up.
