TULSA, Oklahoma -- Two Tulsa water main breaks are still causing problems for drivers and businesses. The break is near Utica Square began during the blizzard in early February and another, in east Tulsa, has been a problem for almost two months.

City crews thought the water main break near 26th and Mingo would take about two weeks to repair. Almost two months later, the work is still not finished.

When contacted, the city of Tulsa said crews were waiting on Oklahoma Natural Gas to move a utility line so they can finish the work.

The city got word just from ONG on Wednesday that their part of the job is finished.

Now city crews can finish the project, and they hope to have it done in the next few days.

The water break on 21st Street - in front of Utica Square – happened February 5. Crews have been working to repair the damage since, but they've been delayed several times by weather.

It's a hassle not only for drivers, but also nearby businesses.

"They see the signs and they kinda just turn around and go the other way," said Tammy Cowsert of Goldie's Hamburgers. "Use our parking lot a lot to turn around a lot in, but they don't come in."

The repairs should be finished sometime in the next week.
