SAND SPRINGS, Oklahoma -- The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a woman's seat belt saved her life after she rolled her mom's pickup truck early Friday morning, and the woman agrees.

Troopers say Diane Lawson was heading home from work on state Highway 51 near 129th West Avenue when she swerved to miss a deer.

She lost control of the vehicle, crossed the center median and rolled several times.

"I always wear my seat belt. If I hadn't worn my seat belt I would have been dead. I rolled four times," said Diane Lawson.

Her mom's pickup truck was destroyed, but Lawson was not seriously hurt.
