OKLAHOMA CITY -- Rising prices at the pump and the grocery store have made it more expensive for the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma to feed those in need.

Officials with the Regional Food Banks said they are spending $7,000 to $8,00 more a month to deliver food around the state.

Like most Oklahomans, the charity is looking for ways to cut back.

"We make deliveries each month, 900 to 1,000 deliveries, so we're going to look at our deliveries and make sure we're efficient and maybe double up some deliveries," said Rodney Bivens, Regional Food Bank executive director.
