TULSA, Oklahoma -- A Tulsa Public School principal was arrested Monday night at the Comanche Park Apartments in the 3600 block of North Quaker.

Tulsa Police say Lynette Dixon, 44, was taken into custody around 5:30 p.m. for interfering with officers.

Jail records say police were investigating a burglary when Dixon approached and repeatedly interrupted the officers.  Police ordered her to leave the scene and when she refused, she was arrested for obstruction.

The Tulsa Public Schools web site lists Dixon as the principal of Hawthorne Community School at 1105 East 33rd Street North.

Dixon was released from the Tulsa County jail after posting $150 bond early Tuesday morning.
