OKLAHOMA CITY -- Oklahoma City Police have released the names of a husband and wife investigators say were killed in a murder-suicide on March 11.

The bodies of 60-year-old Gerald Seems and 57-year-old Janet Seems were found shortly after 7 a.m. Saturday in their southwest Oklahoma City home.

Captain Patrick Stewart said 911 dispatchers received a call from a woman Saturday morning saying her husband was shooting at her at their home located at 11829 S.W. 3rd Street. Dispatchers reported hearing shots fired on the phone then no one responded.

When police arrived at the home, they were unable to make contact with the homeowners and called for a tactical team. The tactical team set up at the home and sent a robot into the home.

Police then discovered the bodies of Gerald and Janet Seems inside the home. Police say it appeared Gerald Seems shot his wife, then himself.
