TULSA, Oklahoma -- Tulsa Police are crediting alert neighbors for stopping a burglary in progress early Thursday morning.

At about 1:30 a.m. officers say a neighbor close to the Quick Serve store at 7711 East 21st Street heard the sound of glass breaking.

When they looked outside, they noticed two people climbing through a store window.

Tulsa Police officers arrived to find one man running from the store.  Another 16-year-old male was found inside the store. He was arrested on burglary charges.

A search for the first man was unsuccessful.

Police say a sack full of tobacco products was also recovered.
