TULSA, Oklahoma -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is asking for input regarding on-road and off-road vehicle operations at lakes in the Tulsa District.

Feedback will be used in finalizing a policy for self-propelled vehicle operation that will apply to all 38 Tulsa District lakes.

The use of motorized vehicles on Corps roadways is governed by state and local laws. Off-road vehicles are prohibited except in areas designated for off-road use, while performing authorized work on behalf of the government and under special permit (such as persons with disabilities).

The deadline for comments is April 21.
