Two Sought Following High Speed Police Chase In Tulsa

TULSA, Oklahoma -- A high speed chase ends with Oklahoma Highway Patrol and Tulsa Police searching for two suspects. 

The chase started around 12:30 a.m. at I-244 near the Yale exit when an OHP trooper tried to pull a Jeep Cherokee over for a missing tail light. 

The chase ended at 6th Street and 76th East Avenue.  

The trooper says two men jumped out of the vehicle and took off in opposite directions.  Troopers and Tulsa Police officers were not able to find them. 

When authorities went back to where the chase started, they found a pistol on the shoulder of the road and believe someone from the Jeep had thrown it out before speeding off.
