OKLAHOMA CITY -- Oklahoma teen Mason Dickerson got what he thought was a temporary black henna tattoo, but once it started to fade, it turned into a nasty rash and a chemical burn.
News 9 learned the artist never used natural Henna. Instead he used a chemical banned by the FDA for that use.
After learning that, State Representative Harold Wright authored a bill that would require all Henna tattoo artists to be licensed in Oklahoma. The bill was never heard this session.
Representative Wright has requested an interim study and hopes to reintroduce the legislation next year.
