Heavy Rains Drench Parts Of Eastern Oklahoma

TULSA, Oklahoma -- Heavy rains have drenches parts of eastern Oklahoma in the last five days.  Some locations have received 12 to 14 inches.

According to the Oklahoma Mesonet, Webbers Falls has seen more than seven inches in the last 24 hours alone.  Westville has received more than five inches in the same period.

Portions of Adair County have received more than 13 inches in the last five days. A portion of Spade Mountain Raod just west of Stilwell collapsed, according to a photo submitted by a NewsOn6.com user.

Parts of Cherokee County have received nearly 12 inches over the last five days.

"This is an incredible amount of rain," News On 6 Chief Meteorologist Travis Meyer said.  "We don't very often have something like that."

In the Tulsa area, the south side of town saw the most rain, with just over five inches.

Rainfall totals for the month are 5.30 inches, two inches above normal.  For the year, we're just a little less than an inch below normal, at 9.44 inches.

Another storm system is expected to arrive Tuesday evening, bringing another chance of severe storms Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.
