City Of Tulsa Surplus Property Auction Held Saturday

TULSA, Oklahoma -- A surplus property auction is being started at 9 a.m. Saturday by the city of Tulsa.

Officials say bicycles will be the first items sold. Auctioning of vehicles and other items was expected to begin at or near 10 a.m.

If you want to see the items ahead of time, you can stop by the surplus property facility at 108 North Trenton starting at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday. You can also visit the auctioneer's website: www.joepippinauctioneers.com.

The facility is two blocks north and one block west of the I-244 and Utica Avenue intersection.

Surplus vehicles including buses, trucks, cars and vans, as well as tools, office equipment and furniture and miscellaneous equipment, bicycles and some police property-room items will be included in the sale.

Officials say all sales are "as is" and it is the bidder's responsibility to determine the condition and quality of merchandise.
