Billy Sims BBQ Hosts Rib-Eating Contest

Hungry competitors will be converging in Norman this Saturday, as Billy Sims BBQ hosts it’s first-ever Rib-Eating Championship.

NORMAN, Oklahoma – Billy Sims BBQ is hosting the first-ever Billy Sims BBQ Rib-Eating Championship Saturday prior to the OU-KU kickoff.

The event will be held outside Memorial Stadium at 3:30 p.m. on October 31.

The event has attracted the attention of at least three notable competitive eaters, including “Eater X” Tim Janus, “Nasty” Nathan Biller and Kansas-native Nic Fry.

“Eater X” is currently ranked No. 6 in the world by Major League Eating, holding records for consuming sushi, tamales, noodles and cannolis.

“Nasty,” who reigns from Texas, recently ate 42 tamales at the tamale eating championship, held in the Lone Star State.

At only 23-years-old, Fry will be challenging his older competitors by trying to make a comeback on the MLE Circuit.
