LITTLE ROCK, Arkansas -- The Oral Roberts Golden Eagles were handed their third loss in four games Monday with a 73-68 loss to Arkansas-Little Rock.
The Trojans (3-4) held a one-point lead at halftime and extended that to as much as 13 in the second half. The Golden Eagles (3-4) were able to close that lead to three points on three different occasions, but were never able to gain a lead.
Matt Mouzy scored a career-high 27 points to lead Arkansas-Little Rock, while Dominique Morrison led the Golden Eagles with 24 points, and Kevin Ford added 15.
Mouzy made nine of 10 shots from the field, including five of six from 3-point range to pace Little Rock. The Trojans shot 54.2 percent overall and connected on 10 of 14 3-pointers (71.4 percent).
With Oral Roberts still within striking distance at the end of the game, Mouzy and Solomon Bozeman each hit two free throws in the final 25 seconds to clinch the win.
