TULSA -- Oral Roberts guard Mikey Manghum has been ruled temporarily ineligible by the university Thursday.

Although he has been certified as academically eligible by the NCAA Clearinghouse, Manghum has not received the necessary amateurism certification the NCAA requires of all student-athletes. The walk-on will be held out of competition until that process is complete, but he will be allowed to practice.

Manghum was added to the active roster on Monday after three players suffered season-ending injuries and another left the team. Manghum recorded one assist in his only action of the season Monday against UALR. ORU has self-reported this violation to the NCAA.

The Golden Eagles (3-4) host UMKC, 7:05 p.m. Thursday at Mabee Center.
