DALLAS -- Going into this season, it was almost a foregone conclusion that if Kendall Hunter played like he had in the previous two seasons he would be heading to the NFL draft this offseason.
When a week two ankle injury turned into a six-week stint on the sideline, it wasn’t so clear cut.
Hunter played in the Cowboys week 10 game against Texas, but only received one carry for one yard and never truly looked to be 100 percent healthy through the end of the season.
Now, with more than a month since the Cowboys last contest, Hunter’s coaches and teammates believe he is the Kendall of old.
