STILLWATER, Oklahoma -- The Cowboys went in to an eight-day holiday break riding a four-game win streak.
They didn’t lose a step, and added another notch to their win streak with the 66-50 win over the Pacific Tigers.
Ball control was the story of the night at Gallagher-Iba Arena, turnovers providing the difference in the contest. Oklahoma State’s defense forced the Tigers to give up the ball 18 times, while only giving up the ball six times.
James Anderson led the charge for Oklahoma State, accounting for 25 points, six rebounds, four assists and two blocks for the Cowboys. Obi Muonelo did his part, scoring 22 points, while James Anderson ruled the boards with 11 rebounds.
Sam Willard was the high point for Pacific, scoring 15 points and grabbing 11 boards, while the Tigers as a team missed 28 shots from the floor.
OSU is back in action Jan. 2, 2010 in Uncasville, Conn. against Rhode Island.
