NORMAN, Oklahoma – The Oklahoma Sooners officially signed wide receiver recruit Kenny Stills Thursday, bringing the total of their recruiting class to 29 players.
Stills is a five-star recruit according to Scouts.com, and a four-star recruit according to Rivals.com and ESPN. Scouts.com ranked him the No. 9 wide receiver in the country.
Stills could not be signed with the rest of OU’s recruiting class on National Signing Day Wednesday because of questions surrounding an online class he took in high school. He has graduated high school and is already enrolled at OU, and the concerns regarding his class have apparently been resolved.
Stills, who is 6-foot-2 and 175 pounds, is tall but lean. He will need to add some body mass once he gets to college, but he is the highest-rated receiver the Sooners recruited this season. The only other receiver they signed was three-star recruit Sheldon McClain.
